 Reading Nick Corasaniti's article about Andy Beshear, the governor of Kentucky. "The Amiable Attack Dog From Kentucky Who Could Join The Harris Ticket" the ironic and historic choice for a running mate that Donald Trump has made gave me a smile. I'm sure John McCain up there with the angels is smiling too. Who can forget Dan Quayle The "Potatoe" Man, George HW Bush's choice for vice president or "grizzly bear mom" Sarah Palin, John McCain's choice for vice president. Mind you, I'm not saying Donald Trump is anything like George HW Bush or John McCain, both honorable and good men in my eyes. I am saying that I think Trump's choice of JD Vance as a running mate is going to be the subject of many New York Times articles and essays to come. I would be pleased if Kamala Harris chose someone like Andy Beshear to give JD Vance a lesson in humility like Lloyd Benson  gave Dan Quayle in that famous vice presidential debate moment in 1988 where he reminded Quayle: "...you're no Jack Kennedy."

This work was produced
 in my studio in Long Beach, California in the years 1990 to 1994.

And, coincides with my foray into graduate studies at Otis College.

Graduate faculty found the work Too.... Direct.
Overall, my experience at the old Otis campus,
MacArthur Park, was sublime.

Using 'out-of-date' 4x5 B/W Instant Print sheet stock,

I later 'varnished' the prints which explains the 'crack-a-lure'.
